A special training programme on ‘First-aid and Pre-hospital Care of injured’ for Elite Commandos of Anti Naxalite & Anti-Terrorist squad of Odisha (Special Operation Group) was conducted on August 10-11,2017. As many as 180 Special Operation Group personnel were trained on managing contingencies like snake bite, scorpion bite, bullet and splinter wounds, heat strokes and fractures with on field available resources. Sessions were taken by Dr. Moharana (Asst.Professor, Anesthesia) & Dr. Saurabh (ICU Intensivist) on First Aid Management and Mr. Anish Kumar Abraham, Nurse Educator on resuscitating patients in on field situation.
