KIMS is a one-stop childcare centre dedicated to deliver comprehensive, compassionate state-of-the-art health care services to children from birth to adolescence (up to 18 years of age)

Neonatal Care :

Our 45 bedded Neonatology wing is fully equipped with Level-III NICU facilities for Medical as well as Surgical needs and provides round the clock intensive care by qualified & dedicated neonatologists and highly skilled nursing staff. It is working par excellence with better salvage and outcome rate comparable to any neonatal institute of repute in the country. It is the best in Odisha and drawing many expectant mothers and newborn not only from Cuttack & Bhubaneswar but also from other parts of the State. We are conducting one year Fellowship Programme in Neonatology with 2 seats from IAP for last 5 years.

Pediatrics Intensive Care :

e have 14 bedded PICU which is the best in Odisha. All beds are equipped with ultra-modern facilities including ventilators, ABG analyser, bedside ultrasound etc. It is managed by intensivists and trained nursing staff round the clock. We get referrals from different parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. PICU has been accredited for one year Fellowship course in Critical Care in 2020 by IAP and 2 fellows are undergoing this programme. Ours is the first centre to be recognized for such programme in entire east zone.

Pediatric Ward and Cabins :

There are 120 beds and 15 Special cabins for Pediatrics patients.

Competent Faculties :

All faculty members are trained in Pediatrics Advance Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Advance Life Support (NALS) & Basic Pediatrics Intensive Care Course (BPICC). Many faculty members are trainers for PALS, NALS, BLS & BPICC; they go to other places in the country to conduct such training courses.

Immunisation Clinic :

All Vaccination covered under NIS (National Immunisation Schedule) are available free of cost and additional vaccines advised by IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics) are available with reasonable price.

Recent Achievement :

PediatricsDept of KIMS has been recognized and awarded by Times Group authorities on 28th March 2021 for excellent health care delivery system to sick children.
