The Department of Cardiology in KIMS hospital was started in 2014. Since then, a team of dedicated, competent professionals with multi-disciplinary approach, is consistently trying to provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care to patients with cardiovascular disease at the lowest feasible cost. We are at a path of excellence and trying to set landmarks in treatment of various Cardiovascular disease in Eastern part of India, by constantly improving the skills. It has a dedicated Non-invasive Lab with Three ultra-modern ECHO, equipped to do advanced echo imaging. The department has two fully equipped Cardiac Cath-lab with facility to do various complex endovascular and structural cardiac procedures. Since its inception in 2014, the department has performed near about 10 thousand cardiac procedures including many complex and newer innovative procedures. The Department of Cardiology in KIMS Hospital is being honored to do many interventional procedures, first of its kind, in the state as well as the Eastern India like TAVR, Endovascular Aortic Intervention, Device Closure of Congenital Heart Disease. It has also a fully developed Electrophysiology Lab designated to treat the arrhythmic disorder of heart. Again the center is first to perform the RF ablation of complex arrhythmia.
